9 September 2019 – DAY 5 (Estella / Lizarra)
What a difficult walk. We walked past the wine fountain! Right next to the road there is a water and wine fountain. Wine wasn’t too bad. It was a monotonous walk against the wind and in the rain. We are all knackered and I have a second blister 🙈 My existing ones doesn’t look so good… been to the Farmacia. Absolutely stunning church in the village!! All the paintings on the walls are still intact etc. Amazing. I loved the organ pipes – every single one were personified. Tomorrow is a long 28km hilly day and I’m not particularly looking forward to it. Hope all goes well. Had lovely paella for dinner. Sleeping in the Municipal dormitorio tonight.
