29 September 2019 – DAY 26 (Santa Colomba de Somoza)
I’m at Foncebadon, a very gruelling 5km from Rabanel del Camino. The day started off okay with lovely weather and it was nearly fun walking. A 24km incline all the way. Please feel sorry for me…, as the terrain was horrible, and I’ve developed another blister!!! 😢 Now sitting here waiting for a shower. Ridiculous…only 1 shower, but hey ho…. If you look at one of the pictures and zoom in, you’ll see the endless route up the mountain. Bumped into Julia again. Luka and Jordan really trying hard to catch up, but they are 50km behind me. Too much partying if you ask me… Bathrobe Bob is catching up…would be fun to walk with him again. Walking with Larry feels as though I’m walking with two ducklings… Both his shoes are ‘quacking’ 😳😂 I’m having pizza at the local restaurant. It is outdoors – check the picture ☺
