9 October 2019 – DAY 36
I’ve arrived the 8th in Santiago. On the 9th we met up with Sharon and Larry and loved watching familiar faces arriving. Gary and I took the little train to explore Santiago, and we meet up with Larry and some other Americans for a lovely dinner – pinxos. Today we hired a car and drove to Finesterra and Muxia. It was really pretty. I definitely would not have been able to walk the extra 4 days and was glad to have the opportunity to see it. I was absolutely knackered today… I think my body is finally catching on… We talked about all the lovely people I’ve met across the globe…: USA, Canada, Columbia, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Namibia, Australia, NZ, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, England, Croatia, Romania, Portugal. Really lovely seeing familiar faces arriving and waiting for my hijos tomorrow.
