16 September 2019 – DAY 12 (Arlanzon)

What a day! It was a beautiful walk through lovely villages and scenery. We’ve walked 28km of which 13km was a gruelling uphill!! Really hot and the humidity is very high. Fortunately, no full sun which made the walk easier. Now pouring with train and the forecast does not look well for the next few days. The town where we’re staying (Agnes) is pretty, but the accommodation is absolutely @#£%!!!!! I’m going to try and pack as much as possible tonight and I’m out of here like a flash as soon as I wake up… Even if it’s 3am. It is cramped and dirty and just ‘gnarly’ 🙈 I’m staying in a hotel tomorrow in Burgos!!

It was a lovely break here after a gruelling hill. We could get things to eat and drink for a donation.
